The Nalón River is the main artery of this valley that is located in the central southeast part of the Asturian Principality, where nature and the traditional rural world live side by side with the marks left by the Industrial Revolution.This rich diversity allows one in scarcely 30 kilometres to take in the Redes Natural Park, the World Biosphere Reserve and the valuable industrial legacy of iron and coal.
